Matthew 6:34 (gnt)
34 So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings.
Fear
Worry
Anxiety
All usually boil down to fretting over what’s ahead. It is said that 98% of what we worry about never happens. We boil it, cook it, we stew over 2%, and we usually find a provisional way through a lot of that.
Strength
Purpose
Direction
Take another look at divine guidance. Sufficient for the day are the troubles thereof. Drop your gaze, stop looking way off into the future. Let’s manage today. Work on today. Stay in the moment. Get a grip.
Go eat something, if it’s a cracker, drink something if it’s cool tap water. Take some deep breathes. Smile. Look up to heaven and think only about the day and say to God, “ We got this”.
Faith is Gods answer to fear. Fear looks ahead and can’t manage now. Faith manages now knowing the victory is ahead.

Start Your Week
Ecclesiastes 4:3
He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy, the time for mourning and the time for dancing.
The word used for “joy” in the above scripture is most often translated “laugh”
Laugh when things may not be going your way.
Laugh when your misunderstood over your best intentions.
We have to be careful not to be all stoved up and angry inside because we don’t have the freedom we’ve had. W’ere locked up in our space, there’s tension building.
Lighten up. Poke your neighbor in the ribs.
Ok you got me. We’re all under a six foot social distancing mandate. We shouldn’t be touching anyone now. So, point your finger at their ribs, catch their eye, and smile real big.
Wait on God. He sets the times….joy comes in the morning.
Loving you with the love that Christ gives.

Psalm 143:8 Good News Translation (GNT)
8 Remind me each morning of your constant love,
for I put my trust in you.
My prayers go up to you;
show me the way I should go.
I meet God in the morning
When the day is at its best
You must meet Him in the morning
If you want him through the day.
Rise
Don’t feel tired
Don’t feel defeated
You can do it
Do it now
Pray
Loving you with the love that Christ gives.

Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light
Chaos is the venue in which God moves and performs.
In the beginning when the world hung in the chaos of formless space, the Spirit of God was moving on the deep, then God spoke, “Let there be light” and there was light.
Lazarus lay in the chaos of the tomb, Jesus spoke, “Lazarus Come Forth”
Lazarus came out of the tomb.
Now the world is plunged into vanity.
The comfort of our money, our weapons, our internet, our cell phones provide little comfort as chaos brings the world to its knees.
The Spirit of God is moving on the deep..,
Chaos is the venue in which God moves and performs.
Loving you with the love that Christ gives.

Isaiah 24:2
2 Everyone will meet the same fate – the priests and the people, slaves and masters, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, rich and poor.
It’s time to be sober before God. Time to recognize that invisible things affect us. Like this pernicious virus that has the world reeling. There is and has been an invisible tempter, the enemy of our souls.
He seeks to deceive all of us.
God has provided a healer for all of us. He has paid the price for the eternal security of all those who come to him. Jesus is our deliverer. Like the subway riders who lift their hand up and into a leather strap to hang onto for balance, we can raise our hand and slip it into His, and be saved.
Loving you with the love that Christ gives.

Psalm 56:3,4
3 When I am afraid, O Lord Almighty, I put my trust in you. 4 I trust in God and am not afraid; I praise him for what he has promised. What can a mere human being do to me?
Study Stillness
Sit at the pond until the silt settles.
See all the way to the bottom.
Everything proceeds from stillness.
You may remember my sermon, now is the time to put it into practice.
Loving you with the love that Christ gives.

Unknowns and Challenges
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
1. The Lord is my Shepherd…..
Psalm 23
Be kind to yourself. Some people are better at dealing with uncertainties than others, so don’t beat yourself up if your tolerance for unpredictability is lower than a friend’s. Remind yourself that it might take time for the stressful situation to resolve, and be patient with yourself in the meantime.

Hebrews 12:27-28 (NIV)
27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,
Loving you with the love that Christ gives.

The Right Attitude
Matthew 5-7
The Right Attitude
To make sure, we are balanced in the storm of life, God places an emphasis on the energies inside of us. They are righted by our attitudes.
